Description

Hearing is at Larimer County Courthouse, Hearing Room - 1st floor, 200 West Oak Street, Fort Collins, CO. This is Wednesday April 18th, at 6:30pm.

"I am a student at CSU that lives on Overland Trail in Laporte. I know lots of bike clubs ride north on Overland Trail -- I am writing to you because this is a proposal coming up before the Larimer County Planning Commission regarding allowing a mining and concrete recycling company to put an access road onto North Overland trial so the truck can access the 287 bypass/North Overland intersection. They are planning over 300 truck trips through that intersection a day.... I have attached the notice of the Public Hearing on this proposal and it includes the information to find the proposal on the Larimer County Website, as well as the address of the planner in charge. The access proposed would be directly across from Bridget Lane on Overland Trail.

The heavy trucks, every 90 seconds, on Overland Trail and on 287 would be disastrous for bike groups. As you can imagine, people who live around Overland Trail are against this proposal."
