WOR ride March 23rd leaving Pro Velo parking lot at 5 pm....read route notes.
Route suggestion is the Windsor Loop from 2 weeks ago. There was a suggestion for Glade Rd. however....there's a chance of rain about 3/4 of the way into the ride. Riding East gives us several "bailout" options to come straight back to town....vs. Glade Rd. which doesn't offer a quicker alternate return.
IF it's precipitating between 4:30 and 5 there's a high chance the rider turn out will be very low.
Wednesday Worlds will be rolling from the Bud plant at 5pm today. The A & B pace groups will be hitting the OCD (Owl Canyon, Dirt, Dairy, Dams) course again this week. The Bs will roll out at 5pm w/ the A charging after them 5 minutes later. There will be a hotspot sprint at the cement plant with both groups waiting for dropped riders for 2 minutes. Full bore until the top of stadium hill. Remember to ride smart along highway 14. Worlds will move to it's usual 530 start-time on April 1st.
WOR will be rolling from the ProVelo Bicycles on South Mason at 5pm. The group will be doing a Masonville out and back route. Call Rod with questions at 970-217-2701
THE RIDE STARTS AT 10.... until sometime in April.
The ride pace is .. ..19 - 20 mph. We will keep the group together until we get to the North Carter Lake climb. For those that want to stop....there will be a re-group at the Marina. After the re-group we'll keep the group together until Thompson Valley Elementary / Buckhorn Rd. Then the pace will pick up.
