This week on 10 Tracks, we’ve got another mad scientist, Rob Wimbish.  Rob is riding towards his PhD in Molecular Bio at CSU. “In a nutshell, I spend my time planning experiments, feeding cells at weird hours of the day, cursing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and changing our lab’s Pandora station (sometimes to the disapproval of my coworkers).”

Favorite bike: My Cannondale Super X.

Favorite ride: I love the ride up to the CSU Mountain Campus over Pennock Pass. It’s a fun climb, often has views of wildlife, and the road conditions are different every time. 

When do you listen to these? I listen to music as often as I’m able, excluding while riding. These tracks are specific for hype-requiring activities: training in the gym, running, and snowboarding.

Fort Collins cycling and New Belgium Brewing go hand in hand. The idea for the iconic Fat Tire brand was born during a bike trip through Belgium in 1988.
