Mission Statement

Now entering its 22nd year, Team Rio Grande continues to be a NoCo powerhouse in women’s and men’s racing. Whether road, cross, mountain, gravel or Tri you will find Rio riders at the start line. The Rio Team is all about riding hard, having fun, and being friendly responsible ambassadors for our generous sponsors and for the cycling community as a whole – and we win a few races along the way, too!
After a disrupted 2020 season (in which we still had many great results, including SW4 State TT Champ!) we are ready to get back at it. You can expect to see red Rio jerseys on the roads & trails, crits & cross tracks, hill climbs & fondos, grassroots races & group rides all over Colorado. Happy riding!
