Mark your calendar! On Saturday, August 23, 2025, Tour de Fat rolls into its 25th year in Fort Collins — and it’s bigger and more whimsical than ever.

What Is Tour de Fat?

A costumed bicycle parade turned full-day street festival, Tour de Fat is known as one of the world’s most eclectic celebrations of bikes, beer, and community spirit. Founded in 1999 by New Belgium Brewing, this iconic event is free to attend and has raised nearly $6 million for local bike nonprofits over its history.

Parade & Route

  • Parade kicks off at 9:30 a.m. from City Park, looping through Mountain Avenue in Old Town Fort Collins until about 11:30 a.m.

  • Festival opens at 11:00 a.m., with entertainment, games, and beer flowing by noon, hosted at New Belgium Brewing (500 Linden St.)

After you roll in, the vibe shifts to a beloved festival complete with:

  • Costume contest, Slow Ride, and a dance-off to win a limited-edition New Belgium cruiser bike
