A Fort Collins woman is suspected of causing the Jan. 25 hit-and-run crash near Windsor that killed 46-year-old cyclist Ernesto Wiedenbrug.

Theresa Marie O’Connor, 28, turned herself in at the Larimer County Detention Center Thursday and was later released on $2,500 bond, according to a Colorado State Patrol release.

Police say a warrant was put out for her arrest earlier Thursday day on charges of felony failure to remain at the scene after an accident involving death, felony careless driving causing death, and misdemeanor failure to notify police of an accident.

Formal charges are expected to be filed by the Larimer County district attorney on Monday.
