CSU Cycling’s mission is to provide the resources to CSU students to compete at all collegiate races in Colorado and take a strong team to as many national championships as we can. Last year we were named the number one club team in the United States. I hope to repeat this success for the 2020 season.

The team has countless national-level results, but a few highlights are 2nd overall at 2019 mountain bike nations, multiple podiums in the downhill categories, multiple top 20s at Cross Nats, and 3rd overall at road nationals.

CSU Cycling remains a prominent influence in the Northern Colorado Cycling community. Each year we put on the Cobb Lake Road Race and the Oval Criterium. This year the event will be taking place on April 4th and 5th. This remains one of the premier road races and crits in Colorado and even includes some gravel to keep it relevant during a time of 30c tires and double wrapped bar tape. This race is the main fundraiser for our club and the more people that come out the more amazing things we can do throughout the year.

The main goals for CSU Cycling in the 2020 season is to increase its ability to provide resources for CSU students to travel and compete as well as become more of a focal point for local and national level cycling.

We have a few amazing sponsors that help us do this including: Cafe Vino, Road 34, Smith, Hagman Homes, Blue Competition Cycles….and of course our parents.
