We are excited to announce the inaugural 2016 Tooth or Consequences Mountain Bike Festival held in beautiful Northern Colorado. Tooth or Consequences is a multi-day mountain bike extravaganza. It features the long-running 40 in the Fort Endurance MTB Race – and a whole bunch more MTB fun.
The festival fun launches Friday afternoon with a short track event at New Belgium Brewing (approval pending) – costumes recommended! This short track race is focused on fun, with, live music and good times right in the heart of Fort Collins.
On Saturday, the first ever “Screamin’ Beaver Enduro” kicks off at Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch. This staged event will offer up plenty of exciting technical racing for riders and spectators alike. This could be a pretty rowdy event, so cowbells and heckling are highly encouraged!
Sunday mornings sixth annual 40 in the Fort Endurance MTB race caps off the weekend. This is the same race we all know and love including the 20-mile single lap option. Expect to feel the burn on “bacon hill” and put your technical skills to the test. This race is not one to be missed.
Want to join in the fun but feeling low key? No problem! We will be recommending non-competitive routes for all ability levels. So bring your wheels and come experience some of the awesome riding opportunities in Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming.
Registration opens February 1, 2016. Package race options are available. There will be a combined time festival champion for those daring enough to take on all three weekend races.
Rattlin’ Short Track Party

This “just-for-fun” event will be just that – fun! Costumes are encouragedas are cowbells, cheering and heckling. All racers will be randomly placed into heats. There are three rounds. Top finishers from the first round will move on to one bracket in round two. Second-tier finishers in the first round will move to another bracket in the second round. Top finishers from each second- round bracket will move on to a combined final round. The short track course at New Belgium is a fun one – a tight course with lots of twists and turns. You can pass – but it takes some “strategery” to get it right!
