The Jim and Dot Dickerson are heading to Cuba for their annual bike tour with Bicycle Breeze Bicycle Tours in January. The tour will again be supporting cycling programs by smuggling in bike parts. Editor: they’re not really smuggling in the supplies, they’re actually bringing them in the legal and boring way.

Please read Dot’s email below and email her if you have any parts to donate. They leave for Cuba on January 3rd.

Cuban youth love their sports especially baseball, soccer and cycling. But because of the U.S. Embargo, supplies are hard to come by. That’s why our Bicycle Breeze Bicycle Tours support the youth cycling programs throughout Cuba, from the young developmental teams all the way up to the National Track team. If you have any bike parts that are easily packed in a suitcase, please let us know and our upcoming travelers would happily transport them to Cuba this January. Slightly used or new are happily accepted.
