County seeks signatures on trail connection petition
Larimer County has started a petition drive to show support for its efforts partnering with Fort Collins and Loveland to create connections between the cities’ regional trail systems.
Supporters of the idea to connect the trail systems will seek grant funding to build the trail connections, and will use the petition to show community interest in the project.
According to the Larimer County website, if the effort is successful the trails will open before the end or 2016 and create a trail system of more than 50 miles for recreation and commuting.
