The NoCo Bike Show for August is shaping up to be really swell.

In addition to the usual news and updates on all things bike and transportation, from advocacy to racing, we’ll have some local bike trivia with prizes and two featured guests.  This week, those guests include a couple of Dans. First up will be Dan Coogan a Bike Fort Collins board member and podium finisher at the 2017 Trans South Dakota gravel race. Dan raced from Beulah, South Dakota to Sioux City, Iowa. He covered the 714 miles of bikepacking and bikerafting in 6 days, 11 hours, 51 minutes and finished in second place.

Up next will be yours truly, Dan Porter, to discuss the pilot program the city is considering to allow cyclo-cross training at a local park. If allowed to proceed, the program will allow riders to train on an actual cyclo-cross course designed by local riders and built/maintained/approved by the Fort Collins Parks Department.  We’re talking barriers, sand pits, stairs and runups…maybe.

Whether you’re new in town, new to bikes or you’ve been here for years and wanna stay informed and engaged, don’t miss the NoCo Bike Show, Fort Collins’ long running bike culture live talk show!

As usual thanks to our wonderful sponsors Urban Mattress Fort Collins,  Wolverine Farm Letterpress & Publick House and Topo Designs for making the whole thing possible.

What the heck is the NoCo Bike Show?
Well, it’s a fast moving program covering a wide range of news and stories each month, in a laid back venue that allows for coming and going and community participation and, of course, beer. We’re looking forward to continuing to grow along with the bike community and finding all kinds of stories to share.
