The Colorado cyclocross season wrapped up this past weekend with epic conditions at Castle Rock’s Rhyolite Park. Conditions were all over the board for the State Championships with deep snow, mud, frozen ruts and wildly fluctuating temps. Racers on Saturday were ‘greeted’ by temps close to 60 degrees and quickly melting snow while Sundays racers battled frozen ruts in the morning and mud and snow showers in the afternoon. Georgia Gould and Suzie Livingston brought home State Championship medals to the Fort. Steve Stefko and Brannan Fix showed promising form for Nationals in a stacked Open Men’s field.
