Overland Mountain Bike Association Launches Fundraising RaffleNorthern Colorado’s premier MTB advocacy organization partners with Niner Bikes to raffle a JET 9 RDO

Fort Collins, CO (September 16, 2019): Overland Mountain Bike Association (OMBA), Northern Colorado’s largest mountain bike advocacy organization, is pleased to announce a new fundraising initiative to support trail access. In partnership with Niner Bikes, OMBA is raffling a new JET 9 RDO mountain bike from now until November 10, 2019.

“We couldn’t be happier with our partnership with Niner Bikes,” said Executive Director Kenny Bearden. “A big part of what we do is raise money to build and maintain the trails you love to ride, and Niner is making this possible by giving away a JET 9 RDO.  We focus on building quality trail connections, connections between trail systems, connections with our community, connections to the great outdoors.  We’re not just about ‘more trails’…we want high-quality trails that are of high value that create outstanding riding experiences.”

All proceeds from this raffle will directly benefit trail development and trail advocacy along the Northern Front Range of Colorado & Wyoming.  Projects on the horizon for OMBA include new purpose-built trail development in Lory State Park, completion of the re-designed 5.1-mile Young Gulch Trail, potential bike parks in Loveland & Fort Collins, new possible trails with Larimer County and the cities of Loveland & Fort Collins, and future projects with the US Forest Service.

Riders can purchase raffle tickets and make donations online through OMBA’s website,  http://overlandmtb.org/ or directly at the raffle site, https://go.rallyup.com/85d676

Raffle entries start at $1 per entry. The more an individual contributes, the better the deal gets. $10 gets 10 entries, $25 gets 30 entries, and $50 gets you 75 entries. If you really need a new bike, and really want to support building new trails, a rider can double-down with a $100 contribution to achieve a whopping 200 entries!

“Niner Bikes has a long history of supporting trail advocacy,” said Niner Marketing Manager Zachary Vestal. “From the company’s founding over a decade ago, we’ve supported organizations that build, maintain, and preserve trails and natural spaces for all trail users.”

Niner’s carbon fiber JET 9 RDO is the company’s most versatile trail bike. With 120mm of CVA rear suspension and a FOX 34 suspension fork with 130mm of travel, it’s made to pedal efficiently, yet capably tackle challenging descents. The OMBA raffle bike is one-of-a-kind, with a custom decal set on the top tube and seat tube. Learn more about the JET 9 RDO at Niner’s website, here: https://ninerbikes.com/products/jet-9-rdo.

The raffle winner will be announced on November 11, 2019. Full rules, terms and conditions of participation are posted online at: https://go.rallyup.com/omba
