Source Endurance Training Center of the Rockies’ Spring Road Camp is back for Year 3

Fort Collins, Colorado – Source Endurance Training Center of the Rockies’ Spring Road Camp is back for Year 3 with bigger and better support. The camp will run Thursday March 21st through Sunday March 24th. The camp is hosted by pro cyclist’s Zack and Whitney Allison, along with Source Endurance coach Kristen Arnold. These riders will serve as ride mentors each day and will be split between groups.

This four day training camp is modeled after professional road camps but without the pressure to perform. Riders are divided into one of three groups based on current fitness with each group having a support vehicle for mechanicals, water, food, and clothes.

The objective is to get in long, challenging miles each of the four days for a substantial training block to prepare for the bulk of the season ahead. Professional coaches Zack Allison and Kristen Arnold are available for coaching and training questions of how this camp plays into athlete’s overall goals.

The event kicks off Wednesday evening with a meet and greet and bike run-throughs from Brave New Wheel. Before riding each day, athletes fuel up with breakfast from Matador Mexican Grill and Peritus Coffee Roasters while listening to that day’s training lecture from professional coaches Zack Allison and Kristen Arnold. Then riders will tackle 40-90 miles depending on their group. Post-ride, riders receive a recovery meal, while having access to recovery tools like Elevated Legs, foam rollers, mats for stretching, an athletic trainer and on Saturday, support from Rebound Sports & Physical Therapy.

The camp is priced at $400 for four days or $300 or two days. Interested athletes should head to the SETCR Fort Collins Spring Training Camp page for more details and to sign up. Groups of three or more are eligible for a group discount- please contact Whitney at marketing@source-e.net to arrange.
