There’s still a whole slew of bike events coming up this winter, here’s a list of the events hosted by our friends at FC Bikes and Bike Fort Collins.

Bike Winter Photo Contest: Nov. 1 to Jan. 5. Add some fun to your first winter bike ride. Take a photo of you and your bike during these dates and submit it to info@BicycleAmbassadorProgram.org. Your photo will be posted to the FC Bikes Facebook page, and the top three photographs with the most likes will win prizes. All photos will also be on display at the FC Bike Winter Celebration on Feb. 5.
Light Up the Night: 6-8:30 p.m. Dec. 7. Visit the Northside Aztlan Center, 112 Willow St., for this event. Lights for your bike are a necessity for winter bicycling. FC Bikes is giving away bike lights during this event. Drop by for your bike lights or replacement batteries.

Cycling in Winter Class, on Dec. 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Join us at Northside Aztlan Center on 112 Willow St. Interested in riding year-round but not sure how to get started? Cycling in Winter is 1.5-hour-long discussion that will help you ride safely and more comfortably through the winter. During this class, expert instructors will provide cycling tips for safe winter riding and recommend clothing and gear for enjoyable riding during the colder months. Space is limited. Winter Bike to Work Day: 7-9:30 a.m. Dec. 9. What makes a winter ride to work a bit more fun? Coffee and free breakfast, of course! You’ll find breakfast on Fort Collins’ low-stress bicycling network and trail system and all around town for FC Bikes’ 9th annual Winter Bike to Work day.

Holiday Lights by Bike tour: 6:45-9 p.m. Dec. 19. Depart from 281 N. College Ave. for a 6-mile bike ride around historic Old Town neighborhoods to see holiday lights.
