This week’s 10 Tracks features Kade Kreikemeier, an FtC local with a passion for both road and mountain biking. For 2025, the 20 year old will be heading back to Europe to kick off his first year as a paid roadie with Team Telco On Clima Oeses, an Elite and U23 team based in the Navarra region of Spain.
Although Kade is focused on pursuing a career in road racing, his heart remains on the dirt. Perhaps surprisingly, if he could only choose one bike, it would be his Specialized Epic MTB. His favorite local ride is Rattlesnake, which he believes is the closest you can get to simulating the tough ascents found in European races.
How does he take his coffee? He doesn’t. Despite breaking the cyclist stereotype by not drinking coffee, he won’t turn down a pastry with hot chocolate on a coffee ride.
Music is a constant companion for Kade. He curates his playlists to match the mood—faster tracks to push through intense workouts, 2010s pop for easier spins and daily tasks, and Zach Bryan for laid-back moments.
