This week’s 10 Tracks DJ is mountain biker, Mike May.  Originally from Wytheville, Virginia, Mike lives in Laporte and is the Assistant Director of IT for CSU’s College of Agriculture. The Laporte Observed Trials event promotor is a mountain biker through and through, DH, DS, trials and XC, he’s raced it all and prefers the chunky tech. His favorite ride is up and down Ginny Trail at Bobcat and his favorite bike is his recently retired bright green Knolly Chili. Fort Collins cycling and New Belgium Brewing go hand in hand. The idea for the iconic Fat Tire brand was born during a bike trip through Belgium in 1988. In 1991 the first beers were brewed in the basement of a home on Mountain Street. The brand has been supporting the local scene for decades.
