2017ros

The Northern Colorado Ride of Silence will take place on Wednesday May 17th.  This year the participants will meet at Old Town Square and proceed right down College Ave for a large portion of the 7.33 mile ride. The new start location and route were designed to add more visibility to the event. More than 100 riders attended last years memorial ride.

As in years past, and perhaps appropriately, rain showers are predicted.

“The Ride of Silence is an international memorial ride. Each year on the 3rd Wednesday in May, cyclists around the world take to the streets in silent memory of fellow cyclists we’ve lost to traffic violence. There will be a short program and an opportunity to share your own stories at the shelter before the ride departs.

The ride is a rules of the road event on a short course at a recreational pace.”

Wednesday group rides may amend their start times and/or routes to allow riders to attend.  Details to follow.
