Fort Collins again leads the nation in businesses recognized by the League of American Bicyclists as being Bike Friendly. Our Platinum ranked city has 59 businesses and one university. Universities have a separate ranking system, CSU with over 31000 employees has the highest ranking of Platinum.
In order to be ranked as Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze businesses must meet certain criteria outlined by the LAB in the areas of Engineering, Education, Encouragement and Evaluation/planning.
