Their U.S. headquarters has been right here in Fort Collins since 1981, when Rick and Paola Malpezzi-Price moved their family here and grew the company from its roots in Italy.
In 2008, their daughters Monica and Maria Elena stepped in to carry the business forward, building on their parents’ vision while expanding destinations and innovating with the company’s signature “Plus!” tour format—adding extra days and deeper experiences for riders who want more miles, more culture, and more time in the saddle. Today, ExperiencePlus! offers trips in Italy, Portugal, Spain, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and beyond.
The family’s impact on Fort Collins cycling extends well beyond their tours abroad. In 2019, the City of Fort Collins proclaimed August 20 as Rick Price Day, honoring Rick’s lifelong dedication to bicycle advocacy in our community. Rick was a founding member of Bike Fort Collins back in 2005.
