Scrub-a-dub-dub, time to get off that mud. Regular bike washing not only keeps that frame looking shiny, but improves bike functionality and extends the life of your parts. Cleaning your drive train (aka anything the chain touches) is the most time-intensive part and the rest comes together quickly. Avoid using cleaners on your rotors as it can degrade your brake pads.
