About this event
The demand for single track trail vibes just can’t be denied here in Northern Colorado. We couldn’t contain all of the fun, food, music, rides, and demo bikes to one day, so we’re continuing the 2024 Northern Colorado Mountain Bike Festival with two days of fun over September 28-29, 2024! Overland Mountain Bike Association will be your host, with event central located at Lory State Park in Fort Collins, CO.
We’re bringing back all of your favorites like the Poker Ride, Demo Bikes, Take-a-Kid Mountain Biking, Skills Contests, Live Music, and Food Trucks. We’re also planning more activities, more group rides, more community involvement, parties, and camping options to make this the BEST Bike Fest on the Front Range!

Frequently asked questions
Your weekend All-Access Pass includes two days of unlimited demo bikes, Weekend Beverage Pass, 1-entry to the poker ride, skills contest entry, festival souvenir, and all of the live music, group rides, presentations, and fun! *Demo bikes are first come first served.
The Single Day Demo Pass is for Saturday or Sunday, and will only get you access to demo bikes. You will have to purchase your poker ride and skills contest entries separately.
A demo bike is a bike from one of our awesome bike brand sponsors that you can take out for a test ride! Each brand has their own rules, but typically you’ll get to test ride for about an hour. The Weekend All Access pass gives you unlimited demo bike rides!
It’s a fun, family-friendly ride collecting playing cards to make the best poker hand. One poker card per person. Maps included to navigate the ride. Poker card stations are clearly marked. Draw one card per station then turn in your hand at the end for a chance to win prizes!
Yes. We will have designated ride leaders, but you are welcome to ride with your child’s group if you choose. It isn’t required and we find most kids enjoy riding with others their own age without their parents.
Lory State Park and adjoining Horsetooth Mountain Open Space have 50 miles of singletrack! Pedal the Poker Ride Saturday (3 routes to choose from), join a guided ride Sunday, or follow our suggested routes anytime. Parents, ride with your kids during Take-a-Kid Mountain Biking on Sunday.
All proceeds from the event go back into creating world-class mountain biking and backcountry experiences in Northern Colorado. We use the funds to advocate for trail re-routes, upgrades, and new trails, then build those trails!
