Good morning, everyone. We are funding a lot of kids bikes and helmets via the MyCycle Team Challenge but we’ve got a bit of a gap to fill by the end of the month. Full update below.
Up to this point, NoCo Cycling Teams have funded about 72 bikes via the Team Challenge. The absolute minimum we need to hit by October 30th is 100, and I’d rather be closer to 150. FCCT and the Poudre Sunrise Cyclists are head-to-head in the Total Bikes Donated Competition, and I’m guessing Team BOB is leading the Roster Percentage Competition, but I need to confirm roster numbers. I need to get an updated report to see how you privateers are coming along.
Volunteers Needed!
On October 28th and 30th, we’ll be at Harris, Irish, Bauder, Laurel, Linton, and Johnson elementary schools to build and give out bikes and helmets. The exact times and dates can be found on the Volunteer link below. The bikes we’re giving away this year are much nicer and will likely require more time to build, so we’ll need more volunteers. Even if you haven’t donated, you can help build and hand out bikes.
Current Team Challenge Numbers:
- Fort Follies = 4 bikes via 9 donations
- Poudre Sunrise Cyclists = 26 bikes via 21 donations
- First City Cycling = 25 bikes via 14 donations
- Team BOB = 15 bikes via 14 donations
- Fort Collins Cycling Club = 1 bike via 4 donations
- Rio= 0
- Horsetooth Cycling= 0
- NCGR= 0
Total Bikes= 72
Total Donations = 62
