Before Brannan and his dad, Matt Fix, hopped on the plane on Wednesday the 21st,  they made sure both the Boos RSXs were rebuilt and tires and wheels were ready for the World Cup race in Hoogerheide on the 25th and Worlds on the 31st.  In addition to the two Boos, Brannan will have 4 wheelsets; mounted with 2 Limus, 1 baby Limus, 1 grifo. Â
Fix says the American style courses at Tabor and Hoogerheide will favor the American racers making the trip. Â Fix is hoping to go inside the top 20 at his inaugural World Championships, “My goal for the race? I honestly don’t have one at this point, it’s all happened pretty fast and I wasn’t sure if I was going to be on the team. The dream I guess would be a top 20, but I really just want to go and leave it all out there while representing the U.S. and be content with where that lands me.” Â It’s obvious that he’s still a little in shock that he’s going to Worlds, “It’s been an amazing season. At the start of the season, Worlds was barely on my radar, but as we got closer to my first euro trip it started coming to the forefront. It was never truly a goal of mine, but I’m beyond excited to be selected, it’s an honor that I have dreamed about for so long. It’s been a tough season academically, and I will only have 5 days of school in the entire month of January, but I’m keeping up and I plan on graduating in March.Â
