The Larimer County Road and Bridge Department has announced that the opening of County Roads 22H and 29 connecting Eden Valley to Highway 34 has been delayed until Oct 31st of 2016.  The section of road damaged during the 2013 floods was set to reopen on July 1st.

Current Status update via Larimer county

Larimer County advertised a bid request to contract the proposed repairs and improvements in October 2015 and has since awarded the project and signed contracts with Flatiron Constructors, Inc. Construction began in late November 2015 and was anticipated to be complete in mid-2016. The foundation design for the south bank retaining wall along CR 29 has been re-evaluated due to the findings from more recent depth to bedrock investigations conducted by the contractor. These findings show bedrock lower than estimated for much of the south bank wall. This has extended the compilation date.
Backfilling of the CR 29 north bank retaining wall is complete. Two retaining walls located west of the CR 29 Bridge have also been constructed on CR 22H. The rockfall mitigation work is complete.
