Starting and finishing at Ted’s Place (the gas station at the corner of Highway 14 and 287), this is a beautiful ride up and down the Poudre Canyon, one of Colorado’s scenic byways. The climb up is pretty gradual and count on a headwind on your way down. The shoulders come and go on the lower half but the recreational traffic is usually pretty considerate. Refuel in Poudre Park, Rustic during the ride and at Ted’s place or Howling Cow Cafe before or after. . Ride it mid-week if possible.
