“On December 24, Erin’s partner Ralph died in an avalanche near Cameron Pass. Ralph was a friend to all, a mythological, larger-than-life being who made all things possible. This sudden and tragic loss has unmoored an entire community. For Erin, the loss of Ralph is a sadness beyond measure. Healing will come and there’s no saying how long it will take. In the meantime, her friends and family wish her the space and time it takes for her to reorder her world without worrying over life’s daily burdens and expenses. Those of you who know Erin well know that she did not conceive this campaign. Her friends and family came to her with the idea. Once we were able to hypnotize her with the promise that no one would be giving out of pity but rather out of selfless love, she relented gracefully. Thank you for taking part in this campaign to support our dear, sweet Erin as she journeys forward.”
A virtual memorial service is planned for January 16th. An in-person celebration of life will be held later this year. Please check back for details on both.Â
