Bike Fort Collins is bringing the 20th Anniversary of the Bicycle Film Festival to Fort Collins virtually from December 30 – January 24. With fees, tickets cost $17.92 and include 90 minutes of short films from all over the world streaming to your preferred device. 

Bicycle Film Festival has been celebrating bicycles through art, film and music the last 20 years. The physical BFF spanned the world in over 90 cities worldwide to an audience of over one million people. The festival has an incredible history of working with the most important artists, filmmakers, venues, and institutions around the world. BFF – Fort Collins is presenting an international selection of the most important short films from our collection.

Select Shorts appeal to a wide audience from film connoisseurs to avid cyclists and everything in between. Let the BFF curated collection of select shorts take you on a journey around the world as we learn about a charismatic Ghanian immigrant in Amsterdam who teaches refugee adult women to ride bikes – experience a birds-eye view of a BLM bicycle protest ride from New York to DC – feel the anguish of a father’s loss – the struggle of a young woman and her bike in Iran – and reprieve from genocide through cycle sport. BFF Select Shorts never fail to uplift and inspire.

Bike Fort Collins’ mission is to increase participation in active transportation and advance bicycle culture and policy changes, creating safer streets and communities, while also creating an inclusive and empowering culture for all bicyclists, regardless of ability or identity. As BFF – Fort Collins host, Bike Fort Collins will receive a portion of all ticket sales. These funds will help Bike Fort Collins continue the important work they do and ensure an event brighter bicycle friendly community for the city they serve.

Fort Collins cycling and New Belgium Brewing go hand in hand. The idea for the iconic Fat Tire brand was born during a bike trip through Belgium in 1988.
