Colorado State Patrol troopers have identified a bicyclist who died Saturday from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run crash near Windsor as Ernesto Wiedenbrug.

Responding to a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a bicyclist on the frontage road off Interstate 25 near Colorado Highway 392 around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, troopers found the 46-year-old Fort Collins resident with serious injuries, but the vehicle had left the area.

Wiedenbrug was transported to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland and died at the hospital.
