Winter Bike to Work Day returned to Fort Collins on Friday, February 13th, with a record turnout. The event, organized by FC Moves, drew just over 2,400 riders, the highest attendance ever for the winter ride.

This year featured 52 stations across the city.  Local businesses and organizations hosted morning and afternoon stations offering food, drinks, and support for riders. The Old Town stations were hopping as per usual. Special shout-out to the sopro station hosts for keeping the commuters fueled up as they came in from further out. We see you.

Weather conditions definitely helped. We saw sunny skies with daytime temperatures around 55°F and lows in the upper 20s, pretty nice by Fort Collins February standards.

Summer Bike to Work Day is Wednesday, June 24.
