Crazy Joe Cross

The final Crazy Joe Cross of 2018 is tomorrow, Tuesday Sept 25th. More information on the Crazy Joe Cross races, errrrrr, rides, I mean parties, whatever, can be found here: . Long story long, they’re super chill cyclocross rides at our good friend Ronny Bush’s house. We go off in A and B paced waves, race for 20 min, take a break and race for another 20 min. They’re free. CX, mountain and gravel bikes work well. All ages and abilities are welcome. First race goes off at roughly 530.

New Belgium Cyclo-cross

The New Belgium Cyclo-cross races begin on Tuesday Oct, 2nd and continue every Tuesday in Oct at New Belgium.  Again, these races are open to all ages and abilities and all bikes are welcome, although a road bike with super skinny tires would be a poor choice. Kids race free, adults are $15. Online registration is a must.  Little kid races, food trucks, a beer garden. More info here:

Source Endurance Training Center of the Rockies 6 Weeks to Fitness Cyclo-cross edition

Smash throughout the cyclocross season with 6 Weeks to Fitness Cyclocross edition. The classes will run on Wednesdays and Thursdays Oct 22-Nov 31st, leading you right into Nationals.

Wednesdays will be a specific cyclocross intervals session, progressing in intensity each week. Thursdays each week will be agility and weight training focusing on the accelerations demanded in cyclocross. Class options are Wednesdays at 5pm or 7pm for the riding sessions and a strength session Thursdays at 5:30pm.

With these combined workouts, you’ll get faster and faster week after week! Our first group of participants in our first 6 Weeks to Fitness saw an 11% FTP gain. Expect to see not only a great FTP gain but, more importantly for cyclocross, an increase anaerobic capacity.
