Colorado’s premier cyclocross weekend is November 2nd and 3rd at New Belgium’s Fort Collins campus. Cross of the North will host races for all ages and abilities on roughly the same course as the Sendtown Dirt Pile races, although course designers are retaining a few surprises for the USAC race weekend. Even if you’re not racing, I encourage you to attend as a spectator or, even better, as a volunteer. There will be food and coffee trucks, a beer garden, and a full vendor area.

If you can only make it for a race or two, on Saturday, I’d recommend the senior women’s open race at 2:10 and/or the senior men’s open race at 3:15. On Sunday, I’d recommend the senior men’s open race at 2:10 and/or the senior women’s open race at 3:25. The FREE kid’s races are earlier in the day and are a hoot for everyone involved.  There is no fee to attend the races.
