The CSU Cycling Spring Race Weekend has been canceled.
Via their Instagram feed on March 12th

“It’s with a heavy heart that we have to announce that the CSU Race Weekend will be canceled for 2020. Due to the danger posed by COVID-19 Larimer county and CSU have told us we cannot hold the event in order to minimize the spread of the disease. We wholeheartedly agree that this is for the best, and would like all of you to know that we will make sure this race happens again. Stay safe.”

The 2020 CSU race weekend will take place on April 4th and 5th. Saturday’s  Cobb Lake Circuit race will take place on the same basic course with a slight modification to the finish line location. It will be slightly further down the hill. Due to construction, Sunday’s CSU Oval will be run on a completely new course.  The .62 mile 5 corner crit will take place North West of the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Drake and Research. Cobb Lake Circuit Race 4/4/2020 Sat

When: 4/4/2020 Sat
Where:  Event Parking and registration will be at the Budweiser Headquarters just west of the Richards Lake Rd and Busch Drive intersection in the North Construction Parking Lot. Please exit I-25 at the Mountain Vista Exit, then head North on Giddings Rd, then east on Richards Lake Rd to reach the parking lot.

CSU Criterium NEW COURSE 4/5/2020 Sun

When: 4/5/2020 Sun
Where: To get to parking, Exit I-25 at the Harmony Exit. Head west until you reach shields. Go north until you reach drake, then head west until Research Ave. Turn north on Research and then right into the south parking lot. Parking will be to the south of the course (don’t park in the middle of the course as you won’t be able to get your car out). Please come from Drake and not from the north to minimize traffic.
