A day after Paul Bass was hospitalized after being hit by an inattentive driver, Kyle Tollakson of the CSU Triathlon Team suffered the same fate.  

At around 5pm Monday, Kyle was returning from a training ride, heading South on Taft Hill at approximately 30mph, when car pulled out in front of him near the intersection of Elizabeth Street. Kyle impacted the hood and broke the windshield. He was taken to PVH where he is being monitored in the ICU with injuries to the kidney and spleen. Surgery may be necessary to stop internal bleeding. 

This is all the information we currently have. We’ll update the story as we learn more.
