The City of Fort Collins’ FC Bikes Program is hosting its first Annual FC Bikes Projects Fair on April 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Museum of Discovery. With activities for all ages, you won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to learn and provide input about upcoming bicycle projects and ongoing bicycle programs. You’ll even have the opportunity to check out Fort Collins new Bike Share system, receive a bike safety check from a mechanic, and win cool prizes. Projects and programs that will be featured at the event include: Mason Street Restriping Project, Pitkin Bikeway corridor improvements, traffic calming projects, Safe Routes to School infrastructure improvements, CSU bike projects, bicycle wayfinding, bicycle parking, Bicycle Ambassador Program, Open Streets, Bike to Work Day, and so much more.  Visit fcgov.com/fcbikes for more information.

Howling Cow Cafe opened on July 1st, 2014, adjacent to Morning Fresh Dairy Farm hq, almost exactly a year after the Bellvue Bean closed down. That was a tough year for cyclists who were used to a mid-ride coffee break while doing the Dairy Loop.
