I’m sad to announce that our good friend, Ford Isbey passed today, March 12th, after a long battle with cancer. Ford was a long time member of the First City Cycling Team, led the Wednesday Open Ride and the Saturday Open Ride between 2004 and 2016. The 61-year husband and father of three was the Global Sales Manager for Feedback Sports. The Asheville NC native had called Fort Collins home for 21 years and was loved and respected by the entire cycling community.

Ford was diagnosed with cancer on March 2nd of 2018 and underwent intensive chemotherapy. By Christmas of that year, the cancer was gone but it would return in the Fall of 2019. Unfortunately, subsequent treatments would prove ineffective.

I last spoke to Ford on Oct 10th when he reached out to lend support to my wife and me after her breast cancer diagnosis.

I will post his full obituary and information on services when they’re available.

RIP buddy.
