Over the next few months Larimer County will be applying for grant funding to construct two different trails that will connect the Loveland and Ft. Collins trail systems. Similar to the existing systems, they’ll be 10 ft. wide concrete trails and are proposed to run roughly along Shields (in Fort Collins) and Taft (in Loveland) and another near Boyd Lake. Altogether they’ll be applying for four different grant opportunities and can use all of the community support they can get. Letters of support from the community are very important to the process.  Below is information

Listed below is an information sheet for the first application to the State Trails program. YGR readers are strongly encourged to write a letter of support to be attached to the application.

Gib’s NY Bagels

As I mentioned last week, I’m putting in a big push to add new advertisers to YGR during the month of September, and I’m stoked to welcome another true Fort Collins staple to the family: Gib's NY Bagels. Gib’s isn’t just the spot for a legit New York style bagel, they’ve been fueling the Northern Colorado community for over three decades. I’ve been using Gib’s as my unofficial remote office for years, so it’s pretty rad to see their banner flying on the site. They’ve always been huge supporters…
