Cross of the North is a USAC sanctioned cyclocross weekend promoted by the 1st City Cycling Team and held on the New Belgium Brewing campus. With its festival-like atmosphere and national-caliber course, it is widely considered to be the best weekend of racing in the region. The races usually take place in early to mid-November.

RioSwap is one of the crown jewels of the YGR empire. The annual bike and outdoor swap and season launch party is hosted by YGR in the Rio's Agave Room every year.
