What Is the Northern Colorado Mountain Bike Festival?
Overland Mountain Bike Association hosts the NCMB every year at Lory State Park as a celebration of mountain biking and, specifically, mountain biking in Northern Colorado. The festival usually includes; Take-a-Kid MTB’ing Day, a poker ride, skills contests, a vendor expo, live music, food, beer, and demo bikes. It generally happens in late September or early October.
What is Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day?

IMBA clubs and chapters, retail shops, Trips for Kids, schools, scouts and community groups are encouraged to host events. The demand for single track trail vibes just can’t be denied here in Northern Colorado. We couldn’t contain all of the fun, food, music, rides, and demo bikes to one day, so we’ve expanded the 2023 Northern Colorado Mountain Bike Festival to two days over September 23-24, 2023! Overland Mountain Bike Association will be your host, with event central located at Lory State Park in Fort Collins, CO. We’re bringing back all of your favorites like the Poker Ride, Demo Bikes, Take-a-Kid Mountain Biking, Skills Contests, Live Music, and Food Trucks. We’re also planning more activities, more group rides, more community involvement, parties, camping options, and other ways to make our event more sustainable including possible shuttle options to the venue and nearby trail systems. Visit this event site often as we will be updating as we confirm events, schedules, and volunteer opportunities. Until then, circle the date on your wall calendar and save it in your phone. NoCO MTB Fest is back, and it’s gonna be a party.
