Today we’re looking at Taylor Warren’s 2016 Cannondale CAAD12, yeah, it’s aluminum! Gasp! This frame comes in at a mere 1,098g and an Ultegra build will cost about $2200.00. A similarly built Supersix (carbon) will cost you $2500.00.  Taylor’s bike has tubeless wheels, upgraded, powermeter crank, saddle bars and stem. Nothing super fancy but it seems to work pretty well for him.  You can tell from the photos that Taylor believes his bike is a tool, not a jewel and rides it hard.  It’s covered in scratches, scuffs and dents.
