Trailcraft Cycles Adds Two New Colors of Their Pineridge 24 Lightweight 24-Inch XC Mountain Bikes For Aspiring Young Riders
Fort Collins, Colorado, USA: Trailcraft Cycles was created to answer the need for a truly high performance, lightweight, 24-inch XC kids bicycle. With a proper selection of high end components mirroring those equivalent of adult spec’d bikes, Trailcraft is considerably lighter than the competition. This December Trailcraft Cycles brings two new colors to their Pineridge 24 aluminum bike just in time for the holiday season: Bright Orange and Turquoise with Pink decals.
The first small production run of these new colors is ready, and is sold currently as three build level options:

The Pineridge 24 is named after a local trail in Fort Collins, Colorado where Trailcraft Cycles was founded. “The Pineridge 24 took our son’s riding from the good level to the great level almost overnight. Hills that were once too difficult to ride became much easier to climb. Key riding skills were learned much faster due to the lower bike weight, and our family rides became longer and a lot more fun together,” said Trailcraft Founder Ginger Rosenbauer.
Trailcraft’s Pineridge 24 offers high performance geometry, high-end lightweight components typically found on adult bikes including Stans Crest rims, Schwalbe Rocket Ron tires, Shimano Deore components, and now 5 color options. These bikes are very light – the aluminum complete 1x bike weighs approximately 21.5pounds/9.75kg and the 2x bike 22.15 pounds/10kg with suspension fork.
The secret to the perfect ride quality of the Trailcraft Pineridge 24 bike is the unique frame geometry and high quality lightweight components. Each frame is hand built in very small batches with double butted 7005 aluminum tubing, forged dropouts, and post-mount disc brake mount. A chainstay length of 390mm allows kids to corner faster, change direction quicker, and lift the front end easier. A shorter rear end also makes learning manuals and floating the front end over obstacles much more fun than typical mass-produced 410mm+ chainstay length 24-inch bike.
