Whitney and Zack Allison of Bikesports took part in Envy’s Grodeo over the weekend, but the real story is how they got there. Over the course of four days, they rode nearly 600 miles, with 30.5k feet climbing from Fort Collins to Ogden, Utah. They rode some big, burly days with snowy hike-a-bikes and some very serious would you rather questions. Their route was a combination of being safe and direct, although the five miles of snow on Buff Pass was less than ideal. According to Zack, with more time, they may have chosen a more northern route that included more dirt– from Walden, they would have headed Northwest into Baggs Wyoming and approached Ogden directly from the east via the Flaming Gorge.
