Last week I had the opportunity to shoot Whitney Allison’s embarged ENVE MOG. Even though ENVE’s new gravel frame wasn’t publically acknowledged until today, Whitney and Zack Allison of Bike Sports had been successfully racing/testing them since late September. They picked them up just after the Utah Belgium Waffle Ride and shortly thereafter, Whit rode hers to a 2nd at BWR Kansas and 8th at Big Sugar. The pair’s Mogs are nearly identically built with ENVE rims, bars, stem and dropper posts, Shimano GRX Di2, WTB tires, and Ergon saddles. Keep scrolling for the full build.

ENVE'S new Mog gravel bike complements the Melee road bike they released earlier this year.

Does MOG stand for Mother of Gravel? Or is it a tip of the hat to the Mercedes Unimog?

Whit's MOG is outfitted with an Ergon Women's SR while Zack's is sporting an Ergon All Road.

Both are using the new ENVE G Series Dropper Post . Another Mercedes reference? Probably not.

The rear mech is paired to an 11/32 11 speed cassette.

Both Zack and Whit run 170mm GRX cranks with 2x 48/31 chainrings.

The MOG is designed around 160mm rotors front and rear.

ENVE Alloy hubs are laced to ENVE SES 3.4 carbon rims.

WTB Vulpine 40mm SG2 tires filled with WTB TCS Tubeless Tire Sealant.

Shimano M9100 XTR pedals.

Whit runs Arundel Bando cages with Thin Bands installed for added security during gravel rides and races.

The downtube cage is mounted to a storage access door. The storage runs the entire length of the downtube.

Whitney runs a 110mm ENVE Road Carbon stem. Zack is on a 120mm.

A K-Edge ENVE Computer Mount holds a WAHOO Roam computer.

Zack and Whit are the duo that make up Bike Sports gravel team, the promoters of the FoCo Fondo and host the Gravel Graceland rides.

The frame and fork can handle up to 50mm (2.0) tires.

The MOG has fully enteral cable routing starting at the ENVE AR bars and running though the stem, frame and Adventure Fork.
