Michael Kanter is wrapping up his time in Fort Collins and heading to Philadelphia to begin law school this fall. During his three-plus years in town, he worked as a Unit Director for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Larimer County, rode pretty much every style of bike, and even launched his own privateer pro gravel team, Corndoggies. While racing will mostly pause for now, his playlists—and his love of long, remote rides—aren’t going anywhere.
Kanter’s riding includes XC marathon, mountainous gravel, and windy, hilly road routes. His go-to loop is north of Red Feather Lakes, ideally with some unexpected detours. You’ll find him on a Trek Supercaliber and sipping black coffee (never instant), often while listening to this mix during long intervals, cooldowns, pre-race drives, or dancing with friends.
