You might not know it but you love this man. This is Michael Schifferdecker, aka Shifty, aka the man that makes the SendTown bike races happen at New Belgium 12 times per year. He’s also the only professional glassblower you know, probably. Shifty is originally from Chicago and has been in Fort Collins for 18 years and he’s been running Shifty Glass for eight of those years. You’re highly unlikely to find him in lycra or on a bike with less than 3″ wide tires.

When do you listen to these? I typically listen to music throughout the majority of my day. While working, riding bikes, and driving you can always count on your boy Shifty to be ROCKIN OUT!!!!!!

Favorite bike? Mine!!!!! His Name Is RINGO. He is a NINER ROS 9 PLUS. Niner stopped making them in 16/17, and that was a HUGE MISTAKE!!!! This Bike Is BADASS!!!!!

Favorite ride? I think my favorite ride in town would be from my crib in Old Town to Reservoir Ridge up and over to the road then into Lory through the park to Blue Sky, then to Devils BackBone….hit up Big Beaver Brewery..then a road ride home via Taft or Shields.

Preferred style of riding? I love Mountain, Gravel, and Backpacking.
