10th Annual Winter Bike to Work Day | Wednesday, December 14, 7-9:30am | Similar to the Summer edition, Winter Bike to Work Day – organized by FC Bikes – features stations throughout Fort Collins that provide breakfast, coffee, bike repairs, and fun to reward those who arrive by bike. Help us celebrate the 10th anniversary of this community-centered event! Visit Oak Street Plaza on Wednesday morning for a special, limited-edition WBTWD travel coffee mug! Find WBTWD bike lights at various other stations, too. Don’t forget the Bike From Work party happening at Odel Brewing from 4 to 6pm. https://www.facebook.com/events/209671486150014/

Bike Winter Photo Contest | December 1 thru January 31| How can riding a bike this winter be even more fun? With our second annual Bike Winter Photo Contest! Snap of photo of your winter rides, snow or shine, add it to Facebook and tag it with #BikeWinterFC. FC Bikes will compile the photos and then vote for your favorites on our Facebook page. Come by our Bike Winter Celebration to see the winners on February 24.
Holiday Lights by Bike | Saturday, December 17, 6-8:30pm, 316 Willow St-Wolverine Letterpress & Publick House | Decorate your bike and tour the best holiday lights in Historic Old Town Fort Collins. After the tour, enjoy hot drinks and treats with friends and family. This easy, slow-paced ride is a great chance to celebrate the holiday season—by bike! Check back for the event route map. Light Up the Night | Wednesday, January 18, 6-8:30pm, drop by at EPIC | Did you know that front lights are required on bicycles at night? Are you in need of a light? Stop our “Light Up the Night” event to receive important cycling related information and a free light to keep you riding bright (while supplies last). Fun and free for the entire family!
FC Rides: Winter Wonderland by Bike | Fridays, January 20, February 3 & 17, 4-5:15pm | Join Bicycle Ambassadors for a guided, slow-paced, and family-friendly ride around Fort Collins. These rides will highlight low-stress bike routes and new infrastructure plus a chance to explore Fort Collins. NOTE: Time of rides is printed incorrectly in the Recreator. Bike Winter Celebration | Friday, February 24, 6:00-9:00pm, 316 Willow St-Wolverine Letterpress & Publick House | Celebrate year-round cycling with festivities, treats, and camaraderie. Bicycle Friendly Driver Certification Course | Monday, December 5, 4:60-6:00pm, 281 N College Ave | Thursday, January 10, 6:30-8:00pm, 1601 W Drake Rd-Summitview Church | Thursday, February 16, 10:00-11:30am, Senior Center | Do you ever wonder how to safely navigate roads in a city where a lot of people ride bicycles? In this popular class, we discuss traffic safety laws and responsibilities for both cyclists and motorists, shared responsibilities, and how to avoid crashes or conflicts. Cycling in Winter | Wednesday, January 18, 6:30-8:00pm, EPIC | Interested in riding year-round, but not quite sure where to start? This is the class for you! Learn tips and techniques to ride safely, confidently, and comfortable, even when the temperature dips.
