Notes from Whit and Zack

We are just a few days away!

We’ve made it past the middle of the week and now we’re fast approaching FoCo Fondo weekend! We’ll keep things brief and bulleted, but please take the 2-min to read for comprehension:

  • Less than 90 spots remain. Get yourself signed up below. We’re not sure how much, if any Saturday or Sunday registration will be available.
  • Be sure to read the Tech Guide! It’s very likely that the Tech Guide has the answers to your questions. THE ROUTES, the schedule, the aid stations, and more.
  • PICK UP YOUR PACKET SATURDAY. For the sake of our registration crew, please pick up your event-day packet Saturday. They will be operating 12-8pm from New Belgium at the West Bar area to serve as many riders as possible. Please leave the day-of packet pick up for riders coming in from out of town.
  • Weekend schedule is in the tech guide: the fun starts Saturday.
  • Childcare! They accepting last minute sign-ups. But let’s not be last, last minute, ok? Scroll down for details.
  • Poudre Valley Fire Authority Fire Truck is visiting: this crew will be offering morning tours of their firetruck and cheering on the 32- and 12-mile riders.
  • Perfect weather: A nice cooler day after a big heatwave! Our precipitation can come on impressively but it’s usually super brief. Enjoy the cool-off.
  • Oasis Detour: With about four miles to go on all the routes except the 12-mile, there will be a very clear detour from the GPX Route with many signs and festivities. It is a part of the route 🙂
  • Gambler’s Prime: details in the tech guide.
  • Extra Early Starters: Timing mats will be down at 5am for those who know they need extra time to finish. You must start at your designated route time to be eligible for prizes, but we LOVE you are taking on a challenge.
