This year’s Ride of Silence will begin and end at Wolverine Farm and Publick House on May 18th.  We will gather at 5:30 for a 5:45pm roll-out. The ride route will visit the site of the two bicycle fatality locations from 2021 and will include a formal ghost bike dedication for Don Lightbody and Luis Loma.

Taken from the official Ride of Silence webpage:

“Cyclists will take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. Although cyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists, the motoring public often isn’t aware of these rights, and sometimes not aware of the cyclists themselves.”
