Coach Zack and I got a little sidetracked racing our bicycles over the long weekend but we’re picking up the CX WODs where we left off.
Running day – Hill sprints
This is like V02 max intervals on your feet.
Find a short hill, like a 15 second all out effort hill that is sandy and loose that no one will be mad if you cause some erosion, steeper than city pack, as steep as you can find it. About 2x as long as any run up in CX races.
Do 20 max speed run ups, walk down and then rest for 30 seconds at the bottom before running up max speed again.
