Men’s and woman’s collegiate cycling team competing for Colorado State University in road, MTB, cyclocross, BMX and track races.
Mission:
Rams Cycling Team strives to provide students and faculty with a cycling community outlet as well as a high caliber cycling team which competes in both road and mountain disciplines at the regional and national level. The Team’s focus is racing, though we also organize rides for cyclists of any level and host a variety of social events throughout the school year. The Team operates throughout the entire school year to provide students the opportunity to compete in road biking and BMX during the spring with track, mountain and downhill biking during the fall, and the ever glorious Cyclocross in the fall/winter. Our goal is to send a full team to Collegiate National Championships in each discipline and to help grow the Fort Collins Cycling Community.

2024 Press Release:
In the 2022-2023 Academic Season, the CSU Rams WON the Collegiate Club National overall omnium title which includes added points from all nationals disciplines. The Team racked up four national titles including a number of individual podiums and club omnium podiums at each national event. Last fall 2023, we had George Poggemeyer take the Men’s Dual Slalom National title as well as a number of podiums at track, mtb, and cyclocross nats. This spring 2024 season, Nick Carter aims to retain his national criterium title in Albuquerque and we have multiple hungry men and women ready to tackle the action-packed road racing season. Other than results, our team has an outstanding growing number in participation and aims to hold multiple group rides and practices a week for riders of all abilities. Lastly, the CSU Cobb lake road race and Oval Criterium is back for another year of epic racing on the classic routes.
